OUR WHY

Our Why

A world where every ambitious professional, wherever they are, can build a career in the world's largest and fastest-growing industry.

Travel Talent Academy was built to connect two things that have always needed each other: a global travel industry actively growing and looking for talented people, and millions of ambitious professionals ready to step into it.

We started with a simple question: why has no one built the right programme for entry-level travel professionals? One that is sector-specific, built from real employer job descriptions, and accessible to the markets where the workforce is actually growing. We could not find one. So we built it.

Sector-specific, AI-delivered, available in 90 languages at a price the world can access. Every module mapped to a real employer job description. Every graduate connected to an industry that needs them.

The industry has known about this gap for decades. No one has closed it.

The workforce gap

Travel and tourism is 20 million workers short today. By 2035, that deficit reaches 43 million globally, concentrated in entry-level hospitality, airline operations, and destination management. The pipeline problem is structural, not cyclical.

The market

A £654 billion global vocational education sector. The travel-specific training segment is £47 billion. The mobile-first, entry-level sub-segment is £3 billion with no credible incumbent at any price point that reaches the global workforce.

Incumbent failure

EHL and Cornell SHA charge £30,000 to £100,000 per student, pricing out the majority of global entry-level candidates. Generic MOOCs deliver completion rates below 10% and produce no employer hiring signal. The credential does not travel to a job offer.

Timing

Mobile-first infrastructure now exists across Southeast Asia, Latin America, and South Asia to deliver credentialed training without a campus. AI video production eliminates the marginal cost per language. The market is ready. The product has not existed.
