This Privacy Notice explains how Global Talent Academy Ltd ("GTA Ltd", "we", "us") collects and uses personal data when you interact with the Travel Talent Academy corporate website. It is issued in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. Personal data we collect

We collect only the data you submit through the Investor Pack request form on the Investors page, namely:

  • Full name
  • Email address
  • Organisation name
  • Role
  • The brief note you choose to provide

We also store two local preferences in your browser using localStorage (a small piece of data stored on your own device, not transmitted to our servers): your theme preference (light or dark) and your language preference. These are functional only.

3. Lawful basis for processing

We rely on the following lawful bases under Article 6 of the UK GDPR:

  • Article 6(1)(b), performance of pre-contractual steps. Where you contact us through the Investor Pack form, we process your data to respond to the enquiry you have initiated.
  • Article 6(1)(f), legitimate interests. We have a legitimate interest in responding to professional enquiries from investors, partners, and prospective collaborators, and in keeping a record of those interactions. We have assessed this interest against your rights and consider the processing proportionate.

4. How we use your data

Personal data submitted through the Investor Pack form is used solely to review the request, respond directly to you, and maintain a record of the interaction for future reference. We do not use this data for marketing or profiling.

5. Recipients of your data

We do not share your personal data with third parties for marketing or commercial purposes. Personal data is accessed only by authorised personnel within GTA Ltd. We do not transfer personal data outside the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area.

6. Retention

We retain enquiry data for 24 months from the date of your last contact with us. After this period the data is deleted unless we are required to retain it for legal or regulatory reasons.

7. Your rights

Under the UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Request access to the personal data we hold about you
  • Request rectification of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your data
  • Object to processing based on legitimate interests
  • Request restriction of processing
  • Lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk or on 0303 123 1113

To exercise any of these rights, contact privacy@travel-talent.com. We will respond within one calendar month.

8. Automated decision-making

We do not carry out automated decision-making or profiling on personal data submitted through this website.

9. Changes to this notice

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. The current version will always be available at this URL with the date of last update shown above.
